Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

When using a certain (dark) GTK theme (for example Orta: http://skiesofazel.deviantart.com/art/Orta-184118297 ) the captions of the tabs are nearly unreadable (see attached screenshot).
The pidgin tabs use the fg[ACTIVE] color both in their normal and in their active states. But in their normal state they should be using the fg[NORMAL] color.

It is Pidgin 2.7.5 which I am obtaining from the pidgin-developers ppa.
It happens with Ubuntu 10.10 x64, but is most likely to happen with many other systems that use GTK.
I just stumpled upon a pretty similar ticket: http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/11364
