Opening a chat window makes pidgin crash (Segmentation fault) with some message styles such as Metal Chat 2, Gone Dark themes. However it works fine with Renkoo theme.

I'm experiencing the same problem
However, I'm using the "Modern Bubbling" theme.
I've opened Pidgin with the -d option and it gave me following output while crashing :

Pidgin 2.5.2 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.

I get this error; fortunately, many themes that I like are working fine right now, but in the future?
I think the solution is a better coding.
I emailed desperately (lol) Simo, to make him return to develop this amazing interface, let's see if he accepts :)
