Bug Description

Pictoric crashes (its windows closes) when I try set it. I run Ubuntu 12.04, updated, under Unity.

After install Pictoric on Synaptic, it works very well. I was installing it downloading .deb.

There are a couple of bugs we have found that might be causing crashes. We are working on a new release soon that should hopefully take care of these issues.

Thanks for reporting the issue, hopefully the 2.3 release has fixed the crashes you were experiencing. I uploaded the new .deb to the 2.3 release, and it is also available in our glacier-apps/pictoric ppa. Let me know if you still experience problems with Pictoric. If it crashes again, it would be great if you could go to /opt/extras.ubuntu.com/pictoric/bin and run pictoric in terminal (./pictoric) and then post the output and the corresponding error messages in a bug report. That way we will have more information which we can go off of when we try to fix the problem. Thanks again!
