Bug Description
I have a collection of 55270 photo with many raw. phaymd spend his time (and time processor) to validate and create thumbnails.
Why does it not save his work to another session ?
To post a comment you must log in.
Is the problem that you don't want phraymd to scan for new photos
every time you start up? Solution: Close the collection. Go to the
start page, right click the collection, select "Properties", select
advanced, disable "Scan collection for changes after opening" (I don't
have the program open in front of me, so the UI might say something
different from that)
Or is the problem that phraymd is not remembering the thumbnails and
recreates them each time. That could be (a) a bug, or (b) because
something else in the system is removing the thumbnails that phraymd
is creating in ~/.thumbnails. If the problem is (b): Close the
collection. Go to the start page, right click the collection, select
"Properties", select advanced, change the thumbnail option from "Open
Desktop" to "Hidden .thumbnail folder in collection directory" (again
those are guesses because I don't have the UI open in front of me.)
Another issue is that phraymd takes a long time to sort the images in
the browser after you first open the collection. I have a workaround
for this, which I plan to implement in coming weeks.
If I have misunderstood, let me know.
