photobmb really should not need a mail server (postfix) installed. i am sure some of the others are superfluous as well.

It looks like photobomb has a dependency on Quickly Widgets and (used to have a dependency on) PyGame. Quickly Widgets looks to have in turn a dependency on Quickly, which brings in all the dev tools you see (which is what the mail server is for). I'll see if I can get some help cleaning this up, if in fact, it's still a problem for maverick.
