Bug Description

When talking with people about applications like Phatch, one thing some of them want is "fancy frames": wooden, metal, baroque, ... (This sort of thing is available in some commercial applications for Windows and probably Mac OS that come with digital cameras etc.)

I'm not sure how this is best implemented.

The border size should be adjustable, the border should somehow adapt to the picture dimensions (height vs. width vs. frame width?), it should look somewhat realistic, etc.

New features should be filed as blueprints, not as bugs. In this case a google spider already reported it to us and the blueprint is already there:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/phatch/+spec/frame-action

At the moment we are in feature freeze and totally focused on fixing bugs. So don't expect it soon. We also will need more input e.g. free licensed texture images of wood and so on. Please add any info the blueprint not here.
