Bug Description
Phatch uses PIL to handle images. PIL does not support interlaced PNGs at this time (no timetable on when it actually will either). So I won't be able to fix this bug.

Can someone set the importance of this bug for the package phatch in Ubuntu to wishlist and if possible the status to "won't fix"?
