Home directory redirection when inside folder

This bug is apparent regardless of action list. It occurs when clicking the gears icon and navigating to a folder to phatch. The folders option is selected.

for instance:
click the gears icon and navigate inside folder /media/user/mydrive/mypics/ (I see my jpgs in the navigation window but nothing is in the location bar)
click ok to accept and nothing happens.
reclick the gears icon to find that the directory is now set to /home/user

However this works

click the gears icon and navigate inside folder /media/user/mydrive/mypics (I cannot see my jpgs in the navigation window but 'mypics' is in the location bar)

The behavior I expect is that when inside the folder it should select all the files in that folder and not revert back to the hume/user directory.

Me Too, this is a nasty bug as it can irrervesibly modify all the images in folder and sub folders of your home directory!
