Bug Description
Sometimes (especially in testing) mysqld is started without my.cnf or with certain parameters overridden on the command line. It is a shame that of all command line options --datadir is not recognized by innobackupex and one has to create my.cnf solely to pass this option to the program (via --defaults-file).
