Bug Description
It is considered poor form (and against policy) for most Linux distros to embed system libs.
We link in zlib via MySQL for xtrabackup, xtrabackup_55 and xtrabackup_56. We should instead use system zlib unless there's a really good reason not to.
lintian warnings:
N: The parts we use from mysql embed their own zlib
O: percona-xtrabackup: embedded-library usr/bin/xtrabackup: zlib
W: percona-xtrabackup: hardening-no-relro usr/bin/xtrabackup

Is a duplicate of bug #1108016 (fixed in 2.2+).
