Hello,

.spec file for percona-xtrabackup doesn't contain dependency on Percona-Server-shared. Installation on fresh Centos 7 image also works ok. Can you please share steps to reproduce this issue?

Hi,

You need to download and install the MariaDB-shared package as well:

wget https://downloads.mariadb.com/MariaDB/mariadb-5.5.43/yum/rhel7-amd64/rpms/MariaDB-5.5.43-centos7-x86_64-shared.rpm

yum localinstall MariaDB-5.5.43-centos7-x86_64-shared.rpm

This now doesn't pull the Percona-Server-shared:

[root@centos7 ~]# yum install percona-xtrabackup
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * base: mirror.metrocast.net
 * extras: reflector.westga.edu
