@singh from what I can tell, libev is used by xbcloud to handle curl HTTP response callbacks from openstack swift providers
Either we should provide it within our repo or make it clear in documentation that EPEL is a requirement (which is most likely a no go for locked down enterprises).
Even finding documentation on this took me to random forums before I figured it out
Error message for yum install percona-
No package libev.so.4 available.

Warning
In order to sucessfully install Percona XtraBackup libev package will need to be installed first. libev package can be installed from the EPEL repositories.
