Bug Description

I run:
innobackupex --defaults-file=/etc/mysql/my.cnf --password=`cat /root/.mysql` --no-timestamp --rsync /var/lib/mysql-xtra 2>&1

And have error:
innobackupex: Error: Unsupported server version: '10.1.18-MariaDB-1~trusty' (InnoDB version: '5.6.32-78.1').

what xtrabackup version are you using? I've tested the latest Xtrabackup 2.3 and 2.4 versions and both were able to table backups from MariaDB server 10.1.21
