- Fail to simple full backup with innobackupex + Xtrabackup 2.4 fails to backup large databases on 32bit platforms |
Hello,
We experienced the same issue with xtrabackup version 2.4.4 & Percona Server 5.7.13.
The issue occurs when there is a large more than 20GB table and the xtrabackup binaries are 32bit. Our system setup is based on Debian multiarch and when we deployed 64bit xtrabackup binaries the problem is resolved.
With xtrabackup version 2.3.5 & Percona Server 5.6.31 there is not any issue
with the same data set both with 32bit and 64bit xtrabackup binaries.
I hope that info will be useful in order to fix that case,
and I'm at disposal if you need any additional debug info.
Regards
