Unable to run backup against mysql 5.7.13

New to your script. Attempted to backup a new myql 5.7.13 database and got the following output:

IMPORTANT: Please check that the backup run completes successfully.
           At the end of a successful backup run innobackupex
           prints "completed OK!".
