Bug Description
I've been using percona-xtrabackup 2.3.2 on Centos6 for backups with no real issues. The backup is copied to a local dir and then a prepare is run on it before compressing/
Trouble started when I was trying to create a replica from a running instance, stream it over to the new instance, and then run the prepare on the Centos7 server. I started getting the attached exception.
I also was able to take a logical backup of the host and restore it on the new Centos7 host. When I run the same backup script on the new host it will fail with this same exception. Backups continue to work on the Centos6 host.

Can you please provide my.cnf file contents along with exact steps and commands used for xtrabackup as it would help to reproduce.
$ cat /etc/my.cnf
$ mysql> SHOW VARIABLES LIKE '%version%';
