Thank you. That is good to hear. We have not noticed any negative side effects, at least.

I should note in case it is of use that (in my environment at least) Xtrabackup doesn't report the issue immediately after a table has been created or necessarily even after some amount of data has been inserted. Some tables either take some time before they are reported, or perhaps don't appear to have the issue until a certain type of data has been inserted (as appeared to have happened in my reproduction above, but that is pretty much the only testing I did).
