Except call it '--collect-only' or something terse. All other options should work the same. Ya can't take away our pt-collect and not give us a replacement! |
pt-stalk has --[no]collect, but it can't do the reverse: collect without stalking. If there's a problem happening NOW(), but the tool isn't running, one has to trick the tool into collecting immediately (e.g. --variable Uptime --threshold 1). As Jay notes, "Ya can't take away our pt-collect and not give us a replacement!" |
