pt-log-player silently ignores --only-select when invoked with --split (not --play)

Bug Description

If I invoke pt-log-player as follows:

%> pt-log-player --split Thread_id --session-files 1 --only-select FILENAME

The resulting session files contain non-SELECT statements. I suppose this is to be expected because (according to the docs) --only-select only works with the "play" group, but I would expect at least a warning to STDERR to let me know one of my options is going to be ignored?

Sorry, support and development for pt-log-player has stopped, and the tool will be removed in 2.2. Percona's active log-playing project is https://launchpad.net/percona-playback. pt-log-player was built for other purposes years ago, so it was never well-suited for controlled replay of logs.
