Bug Description

We currently have pt-table-checksum in a script being called and limited to 1 hour of run time. This works great until it finishes all the checksums and needs to restart. There does not seem a way to programmatically tell that the run finished checksumming all the data and needs to be run with --empty-replicate-table vs continuing and running with --resume.

I purpose a new option that, if pt-table-checksum runs with --resume and finishes early, it sets a flag to indicate to truncate the table on the next run, so it will automatically re-check all the old data.

Agreed, this does make it difficult to know when it's "done done".

summary: - pt-table-checksum should support a --empty-replicate-table-when-done for
- --resume
+ pt-table-checksum doesn't indicate when --resume finishes
