Bug Description

Originally reported by Damien Granier:

I installed percona-server 5.7.11-4 on a clean debian jessie using the percona apt repo, and noticed the “debian-sys-maint” user is no longer created.
The docs (https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.7/installation/apt_repo.html) still mention this user.

Will the debian-sys-maint user, and /etc/mysql/debian.cnf file be created again in a future 5.7 release?
Or has this been removed and if we want to keep using this, should we create it ourselves?
