Bug Description
Follow-up to bug 1295268. A regression was reported of 2000 ops/sec in XtraDB compared to 21000 ops/sec in InnoDB on long-running Linkbench. A fix attached to that bug improved performance to 16000-17000 ops/sec.
This bug is for follow-up work to recover the remaining 3000-5000 ops/sec regression. For setup see bug 1295268.
