Bug Description

The output of

$ mysql_config --libs
-L/usr/lib64 -lperconaserverclient -lpthread -lm -lrt -lssl -lcrypto -ldl

is missing -L/usr/lib64/mysql

for the libraries

libperconaserverclient.a
libperconaserverclient_r.a

$ mysql_config --version
5.5.39-36.0

$ mysql_config --version
5.6.20-68.0
