Bug Description

Following instructions as shown here;
   http://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.6/installation/apt_repo.html
On Ubuntu 14.10, 32 bit, clean/fresh install, the user is asked 3 times, at various stages of the install process (i.e. not directly after each other) to enter a password, when enter is pressed and no password is given (which should be possible/as is indicated 'while this is not necessary (to give a root password)'). Did not test with actually entering some password, this needs to be tested with the bugfix too.

Proposed fix; it should only ask this once. Please use 100% clean VM/fresh install to avoid old passwords/config files etc.
