Bug Description

Apologies if this is the incorrect section to raise bugs for Percona MySQL server 5.6 - I've not been able to find a more appropriate section. If this is the incorrect place, please re-direct me to the correct place.

We run Percona MySQL in a cluster so the service is disabled in systemd and managed by Pacemaker:

[root@BCF-WEBDB-01 ~]# systemctl list-unit-files | grep sql
mysqld.service disabled

When we updated Percona-Server-server-56.x86_64 on CentOS 7:

[root@159 ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)

the mysql service was re-enabled.

[root@BCF-WEBDB-01 ~]# systemctl list-unit-files | grep sql
mysql.service enabled
mysqld.service enabled

Is this desired behaviour? We can't find any other packages that exhibit this behaviour.

This caused MySQL to start outside the cluster the next time the server was booted.

Regards,

Nick

Can't test with MySQL Community 5.6, but on upstream 5.7 upgrading to latest 5.7.17 from previous 5.7 will enable systemd mysqld.service when it is originally disabled.
