Bug Description
MySQL has support for version-specific option groups in configuration files, e.g. [mysql-5.6], [mysql-5.7]. Extend this support for Percona Server, so that the same configuration file could be shared between MySQL and Percona Server, with MySQL ignoring Percona Server-specific options.
Until this is implemented, a workaround is to use --loose- prefixes for Percona-specific options, but this is not optimal, as typos as such go undiagnosed, silently disabling options for Percona Server too.
