I have two servers (live and backup) running Debian 8 and just started an incremental update to the latest Percona version (5.6.29-76.2-1.jessie).
They were running 5.6.28.
I was leaving the upgrade on my master server to update at a later time so it didn't affect production however after the upgrade replication broke.
This was the only error posted in the logs:
2016-03-08 10:21:56 26495 [ERROR] Slave I/O: error connecting to master 'redacted' - retry-time: 60 retries: 26, Error_code: 1129
Updating the master server to the latest version fixed the replication errors. |

I couldn't find any note that replication would break in the patch notes. |
