PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:

/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h 7882ce509f35 password 'new-password'

5.5 install on Centos5 from repo. Was using Docker, but likely trigerrable on Centos5 plain too. Issue likely sporadic, based on seeing URL above.
