Everybody affected by this bug -

If you are comfortable with building the server from source and if you were not affected by http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=72610, please set up a test slave built from lp:~laurynas-biveinis/percona-server/bug1380010. Does it still crash?

The change on that branch is a revert of fix for 72610. I am looking into whether it is feasible to have a fix that does not revert it.
