Bug #1103655 reintroduced in 5.5.30-30.2

Bug #1103655 got reintroduced in 5.5.30-30.2. Tested on Ubuntu 12.04:

$ sudo apt-get install percona-server-server-5.5 percona-server-client-5.5
[sudo] password for user:
