Hi,

- OpenSSL is installed, version 0.9.8o-4squeeze14 (Debian squeeze latest)
- I upgraded the client also (percona-server-client-5.5, 5.5.30-rel30.2-500.squeeze)
- The certificates work fine with percona server 5.5.30-30.1 so I didn't look into them. I did not change client- or server certificates in the test below

Client version 5.5.30-30.2 to server version 5.5.30-30.2:
> user@client:~# mysql -u aaa -pxxx -h server --ssl-ca=....pem --ssl-key=....key --ssl-cert=....pem
> ERROR 2026 (HY000): SSL connection error: error:00000001:lib(0):func(0):reason(1)

Client version 5.5.30-30.2 to server version 5.5.30-30.1 (same client, same certificates as before, both on server and on client):
> user@client:~# mysql -u aaa -pxxx -h server --ssl-ca=....pem --ssl-key=....key --ssl-cert=....pem
