Grub won't install

Bug Description

I have a dell inspiron 11 3000 (3148) tried to install peppermint 8 and I get a grub can't install, also when trying peppermint live USB my wifi doesn't work!

Are you using the 32bit version of Peppermint 8 on a UEFI system ? .. UEFI is only supported in the 64bit version.

Where we'll try to figure out if this is a genuine bug or simply a configuration issue.

I'm trying to install 64 bit version of Peppermint 8, I have it installed on another laptop without any problems, but it's an older laptop with 32 bit. Thanks for the reply. Really loving Peppermint 8 on my other computer..

I'm trying to install 64 bit version of Peppermint 8, I have it installed on another laptop without any problems, but it's an older laptop with 32 bit. Thanks for the reply. Really loving Peppermint 8 on my other computer..

It would really help if you could raise this on the forum, so we can get the spec of the PC and things like the partitioning scheme.
