Highlight dangling (invisible) thermals

It's possible to have a pad/via with an attached thermal, and not know it. My request is for some kind of graphical indication of when, for example, a pin has a thermal on layer X, layer X is currently visible, and there is no plane/rectangle/polygon on layer X currently surrounding that pin.

Consider the following example:

1. I have some components on one part of my board, which is completely finished. Say a decoupling capacitor, with thermals on the ground and power planes. Since I have finished this part of the board, I can easily see which thermals are present.

2. I copy and paste that symbol to a different part of the board, where there are no planes yet.

3.The copied symbol keeps the thermal "flags" (this is the correct behaviour; it's also very useful if I want to drop the symbol on an area of board with ground-planes).

4. The new symbol's thermals are invisible. I proceed to connect up the board, perhaps using this capacitor for AC-coupling.
I have no way to see that there is a dangling thermal present (and I wish I did).

5. Later, I add the ground plane.

6. My signal is now shorted to ground, though I never intended it to be. I may even not notice this before fabrication.
