lines without clearline aren't visible in polygons even with thin draw poly

Bug Description

Although they aren't visible they are still selectable, so this seems like a render bug.
The attached image shows the issue. Apparently it isn't the case for the lesstif hid, so it seems to be a gtk and/or opengl render bug.

I agree that when using "thin-draw" non-clearing lines ought to be apparent.

Bert has looked at the gdk HID also, and this bug seems to be specific to the GL HID.

Looks like this has been around for awhile. There's also a patch on the other report. Will need to test for bitrot.
