pcb refuses to load footprint files

As of git revision 4e48c1e ("fix parser warnings") pcb cannot open any footprint files anymore:

I can confirm. A binary compiled from git/master on Aug 17 2018 at
03:45:14 (CEST) immediately returns with
 LoadPCB: Failed to load existing file "foobar.fp".
This happens with every footprint I tried.

FWIW, I tested the branch LP1790649 and AFAICT:

File/Open and then open a footprint file works OK.

File/Load element to buffer doesn't work (NOK).

File/Load layout to buffer works OK.

I amended the commit before I left yesterday. File/Load element to buffer should be working now.
