Hi,

your package pcb-common installs one or multiple files in /usr/share/mimelnk/.
Those mimelink files were used by KDE3 which is long gone. Afaik, the last
Debian release shipping with KDE3 was Debian Lenny, released in 2009.

Nowadays those files are just cruft. Please consider removing those mimelnk
files in your next upload.

Hi,

I pushed to a "LP1717254" topic branch.

I have searched on the net and found quite a few bug reports by Michael Biebl (@debian.org).

Other than that I see no other references for this deprecation, so I hesitate to merge this into the master branch without a proper confirmation.

I still have to read https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/shared-mime-info-spec/ et al.
