Bug Description

With master version fa6ae8753096f065d9f02e5f8bfa480a8d178c6c
the following command generate the blank png file. It may due to ploygon shape. Enlarge workspace by 5mm is a workaround.

pcb -x png --outfile top.png --dpi 1000 --use-alpha --format PNG --photo-mode ./plate.pcb

Yup, known issue. If the outline happens to touch all four edges, it can't figure out the shape. Just remove the outline from the outline layer and it should work - the default outline is the "whole board" like you already have.

Hi Yu - Sian and DJ,

Some board houses (OSH Park for instance) insist on having a fully closed countour on the "outline" layer (as in the "*.GKO" gerber).

The center of the contour line is the edge of the routed edge.

In this use case expanding the board a little is the work around.

Kind regards,

Bert Timmerman.
