Bug Description

In making a PCB, I might have perhaps 100 symbols that are my personal "favourites" for the kind of circuit I'm building. But the symbol library is rather large, so it's quite time-consuming to keep hunting around to find just the one I want, each time they are needed.

So my proposal is to add an always-at-the-start "favourites" library, which would automatically contain the 100 most-recently used symbols that the user has accessed. This should be a property of the user/app, rather than of the current PCB file.

For example, I tend to build simple digital circuits, so my favourites might contain 8,14,16 pin DIL sockets, some connector-headers, and standard generic 0.1 and 0.4 axial components, LEDs, and a 7805 regulator.

Thanks for your time.

One possible solution for this: copy all the often used symbols and footprints into your local library. As long as you don't change them, there should be no conflicts with coworkers using the default library only.
