Bug Description

This probably reflects a bug in the program.
he program 'pcb' received an X Window System error.
The error was 'BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length erro'.
  (Details: serial 1476 error_code 16 request_code 128 minor_code 2)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

This is on starting up the pcb program directly from the command prompt with a pcb file that was working fine before. I am using X-forwarding over SSH. Both machines are Ubuntu.

Linux 3.2.0-31-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 7 16:16:45 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Is this still an issue? I run pcb from the command line daily and can't remember to ever have seen an X Windows error.

If the bug still happens, please attach the layout (.pcb) file, the bug might expose only on specific geometry.

Looking at the age of the bug, the lack of other such reports and the responsiveness of the reporter it's unlikely we can ever reproduce this bug or just even confirm its existence.

Hi,

No example files to reproduce the behaviour.

Setting this to "won't fix".

Kind regards,

Bert Timmerman.
