Bug Description
This is an issue that is not elementary only.
I have 3 computers, all have the same problem on ubuntu based distros (elementary included). The network manager seems to get stuck and can't connect to any wireless network, also seems to get lost when finding the wireless driver, the problem don't occour at all with WICD, so it's not driver related.
In elementary, before installing wicd I had to close the lid, put in airplane mode and then, put online again to get wireless working. In other distros the network manager seems to have the same crash.
The connection with the network manager keeps dropping all the time to.
WICD works perfectly in all the distros, so I guess is not even Kernel related;
