Terminal display produces multiple lines of same updating line

Bug Description
Terminal app does this thing where it will behave normally in maximized mode but in normal(other than maximize) it keeps on refreshing and prints that on the terminal window.
Like when command sudo apt-get update will give several lines of same thing.

This generally happens when the terminal window is smaller than the length required for a single line to be printed, it's not a bug.
