Bug Description
Currently, the colors for pantheon-terminal are completely unchangeable. This is a big usability issue, as the default color scheme for the VTE widget is pretty atrocious, and very likely unsuitable for many users (colorblindness, need for very high contrast colors, general comfort, etc.). VTE, which is the terminal emulator widget that pantheon-terminal and gnome-terminal use, exposes methods for setting the color scheme. It would be very nice if there were a preference window where the colors/theme and font settings could be altered so users can comfortably use the terminal.

If I have some free time this week, I'll see about diving into the source and adding a configuration panel. I also think it would be cool to derive a new Elementary terminal widget for VTK (put it in graphite, maybe?) that will get its settings via gsettings, so that we can have a terminal widget that looks consistent Elementary-wide (with optional override available). This would be most useful for development apps (particularly Scratch, which I would like to see a terminal plugin for).
