Bug Description

To provide a smoother experience ( Gnome-Shell -ish ), launch slingshot when the mouse cursor hits the edge of the screen.

This behavior can be only achieved using compiz shortcuts..

I don't think this is possible to implement inside Slingshot, and really we'd want it in a place where it can be more easily configured with other hotcorner actions. So, marking invalid for slingshot, but I am going to open it up for elementary OS.

DanRabbit: this change is a one-liner, but I need a green light from you on this. As far as I observed, middlebrows + hot corners = FAIL. I'd prefer to have this in Switchboard.

Yea, personally I think we need a plug for configuring hot corners.

I didn't want to assign it to Switchboard because It's not really a switchboard bug, it's more of an "app inclusion" bug.

I think this is planned for Shell plug since I saw an unfinished section for it within the code.
