Photos overlap over each other instead of displaying only the current photo

Bug Description
When I open a photo and start browsing other photos in the directory using left and right arrow keys, the photos begin to overlap over each other. The view area doesn't get redrawn on opening a new photo; the new photo just displays on top of whatever was visible earlier. Is it being experienced by anyone else?
I'm using elementary OS 0.4 Loki. Let me know if you need any other details.

This happens when a third party GTK theme is used, not when the default elementary theme is used. I experienced this while using the Arc theme (https:/
