I don't agree with this one on the basis that some users will be using a touchpad, as such, they won't have the middle mouse button. It would make more sense if you posted a bug asking for an option to close notifications with the middle mouse click.

Middle click on touchpads is usually emulated with pressing both left and right button at the same time.

What about let the user to close notification by close button (stylish of course)? Or maybe it can be like iOS push notifications with optional buttons.
