Bug Description

I'm in Loki stable and decided to use the daily ppa to work on development but later I purge it via ppa-purge but now every time I open Mail the window get wider and wider. The maximize button is not responding, cannot hard-rezise and terminal shows the following output:

(pantheon-mail:12352): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_application_name() called multiple times

(pantheon-mail:12352): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_allocated_height: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

This happens when I compile either 1.0.1 or 1.0 from source. Could this be related to some library that was left behind by the daily ppa? (Even though I already purged the PPA)

Dear Andrés,

thanks for taking the time to report this.
You ran into an issue that was reported in an ealier bug report. So I am marking this bug report as a duplicate of the former bug report.

As a workaround you could try to reset the gesettings for Mail:
1) close Mail
2) $ dconf reset -f /org/pantheon/mail/
