Bug Description
It is highly recommended that Google accounts have 2-step verification enabled. However, Mail cannot authenticate a gmail account with 2-step verification enabled.
## Steps to reproduce
1. In https:/
2. Insure that your settings are working by signing in to other devices and clients that support 2-step verification.
3. Open the Mail application and add your gmail account details, enter your password and submit. Doing so will result in an error, "Your user id or password is incorrect."
4. Go to http://
5. In Mail, add your gmail account details and password and you'll be logged in fine.

Similar to other apps that use imap, it is required to create a 'application specific' password. With this as you password, you can log in. Yes, this is not 2-step verification but it works while 2 step verification is enabled, and is necessary for most non google mail clients.
