Bug Description

So I'm having a weird problem with the mail client where it keeps getting wider and it won't maximize. It persists across reboots.

Here are example screenshots. taken a few seconds a part ==http://imgur.com/a/juvuM ==
If I go to report a problem it says that its not an official version... but it is. Only non standard package I have installed is elementary-tweaks. I removed that just in case it was the culprit and then uninstalled and reinstalled pantheon-mail. I get the same results again across reboots.

I went ahead installed geary .10.0 since its an older version and can confirm it does not have this bug. I'm going to use geary in the short term , but leave pantheon-mail in place so I can provide more info should you all need it.

Great OS. Hoping this bug report assists you in making it better.

Dear Brendan,

thanks for taking the time to report this.
You ran into an issue that should have been fixed before. So I am marking this bug report as a duplicate of the former bug report and re-open it.

As a workaround you could try to reset the gesettings for Mail:
1) close Mail
2) $ dconf reset -f /org/pantheon/mail/

This problem is quite hard to reproduce.
Could you describe what you did before Mail kept growing its size?

that workaround fixed it. Should it occur again I'll keep a better idea of
what happened right before the problem occurred and let you know.

I've had the same problem and when wrote the code in the terminal it seemed to help. However, I noticed that after I uninstalled andother program from the AppCenter Mail streched again, and again, after writing the same code it got fixed.

I has begun to strech out again, and this time I did nothing else apart from opening and closing Mail for a couple of times
