Refusing to enter updated password results in segfault

Context: my email address has been removed from the server, so now when the application is launched, it asks for a password for that account. If I click cancel twice on the password entry ialog, I can reproducibly get it to segfault.

I believe the segfault is a consequence of this because if I don't click cancel (just leave the dialog open), the application continues to run normally.
