Bug Description
Mail app does not let me login into my Google account. When I enter my credentials it starts loading but after a few seconds it displays an error message complaining about wrong username or password. Actually whenever I try to login with Mail I receive an email from Google telling me they blocked an unauthorized access.

To post a comment you must log in.
You need to go to Google and allow "less secure" logins. By default google now only allows Oauth logins and won't authorize clients trying to auth over IMAP/SMTP.
I'm going to leave this report open as we should probably try to work this messaging into the error until we can support Oauth.
